 The Borough of Sea Bright Office of Emergency Management is a branch of the Municipal Government. The OEM office is mandated by the State of New Jersey as well as the Federal Government to Establish, maintain and practice an “All Hazards Approach” for the safety of the residents and businesses of the Borough as well as continuity and continuation of the Municipal Government in times of Manmade or Natural disasters. The Office oversees all Municipal resources, and in times of emergency will make sure all resources are utilized for the safety of the residents.
The Office of Emergency Management is a work in progress continually updating the Borough’s Emergency Operations plan as well as working with all Municipal Departments to maintain continuity of the Local Governments emergency services.
During times of Emergency and Natural disasters such as flooding events and storms from time to time the office may close down Ocean Ave or parts of it due to flooding. We ask that all residents and motorists heed the road closed warnings, and not to travel through flooded roadways. This is for your own safety and the safety of the emergency responders.
